Kutztown's JORDAN SHAPIRO and West Chester's MATT GOLEBIEWSKI combined for 11 victories on their way to being named the PSAC Athletes of the Week in the sport of swimming.

WOMEN’S
Jordan Shapiro – Kutztown
Fr, Trenton, N.J. (Princeton)

Shapiro led Kutztown to recent dual meet victories over California, Bloomsburg and Albright by earning top two finishes in 11 events, including eight wins. She twice put up the top times in the 100 and 200 back, as well as the 50 free, and was victorious once each in the 50 back and with the 400 medley relay team. Only a freshman Shapiro boasts three of the league’s top 15 times in individual events, including second in the 200 back and fifth in the 100 back.

Special Mention
Amanda Terray – Lock Haven
So, Coaldale (Panther Valley)

Terray swam her best time this season in the 200 back in Lock Haven’s 113-87 dual meet victory over Millersville. Her NCAA “A” Cut time of 2:05.64 set a pool record, tops all league opponents is the seventh fastest time recorded in Division II this season.

MEN’S
Matt Golebiewski – West Chester
Sr, Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Whitemarsh)

Golebiewski played a key role in West Chester’s dual meet victories over The College of New Jersey and Johns Hopkins as he registered three individual and two relay wins over the weekend. Golebiewski’s top effort came in winning the 200 free, as his NCAA “A” Cut time of 1:40.77 was topped only by his own 1:40.26 earlier this year at the Cavalier Invitational. That mark is the second fastest in Division II this season. He also won the 100 free (46.23) and 500 free (4:39.36) events, bettering “B” Cut standards, and was part of the winning 400 and 800 free relay teams.
