PSAC Wrestling Athlete of the Week - 8
Shippensburg's JOHN HADE, overcoming early season injury, posted a 5-0 mark in his first significant action of the season. For his efforts, he was named the PSAC Athlete of the Week in the sport of wrestling.

Hade returned to the Shippensburg line-up this week after battling with injuries all winter and registered a 5-0 mark, all in dual meets.
In the home dual meet opener against Division I Millersville, Hade defeating Jason Foor by an 8-4 decision which gave him momentum heading into the East Coast Duals held in Laurinburg, N.C. He began the weekend action with a 13-2 major decision over Conor Pryor of UNC-Pembroke, then, in his most significant match of the day, he posted a double-overtime 3-2 sudden victory over Bryant Blanton, the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the East Region. After an injury in the Shippensburg line-up, Hade was moved up in his third dual of the day and wrestled Mercyhurst heavyweight Matt Mix, and earned a 6-4 decision. Hade returned to 184 pounds and finished his Saturday with another sudden victory, this time a 2-1 decision over Limestone’s Aaron Miller. Hade is now 9-4 on the season.
