Lock Haven, Pa. - Shippensburg's Kristina Taylor and Bloomsburg's Amanda Riley led their teams during 3-0 weeks and have been honored as the PSAC Field Hockey Athletes of the Week.

Taylor helped Shippensburg rebound from its only loss of the season by recording a goal in each of the Lady Raiders contests last week. Her effort led a 3-0 week in which Shippensburg defeated three teams ranked in the top eight of the NFHCA latest poll.

Taylor netted a goal in a 2-0 win over No. 6 Kutztown and added another in a 4-0 win over No. 8 Mercyhurst. She closed out the week with a goal and assist in the 3-1 triumph over No. 3 East Stroudsburg.

Riley registered 10 points off four goals and two assists in three contests, helping Bloomsburg bring its winning streak to 11 straight games.

She began the week with a goal and an assist in Bloomsburg's 4-0 win over Slippery Rock and concluded the week with an assist in a 5-2 win over Mansfield.  Her top performance came against C.W. Post in which she scored a hat trick on only four shots, leading the Huskies to a 6-3 win.  For the week she totaled four goals on nine shots.
