PSAC Women's Volleyball Athletes of the Week - 7
Lock Haven, Pa: Olivia Williams of Edinboro and Christie Naumann of Lock Haven are this week’s PSAC Athletes of the Week. Williams led the Fighting Scots to a 3-1 week, having an outstanding performance offensively and defensively, finishing with 62 kills and nine blocks. Naumann’s solid performance during PSAC Crossover play this weekend, helped extend Lock Haven’s winning streak to nine matches.

Veteran Olivia Williams tallied 62 kills, a .318 attack percentage, nine blocks, 27 digs and four services aces over the weekend as Edinboro went 3-1 in PSAC Crossover action. In Friday’s match against Millersville, she finished with 25 kills, a .444 hitting percentage, adding two blocks and eight digs to secure the win in four sets. During the Fighting Scots clean sweep against East Stroudsburg, she finished with 11 kills and five digs. In Saturday’s matches against host Shippensburg and Lock Haven, she finished with 13 kills, five digs, two blocks and 13 kills, nine digs and five blocks.

Outside Hitter, Christie Naumann had a sensational week as the Lady Eagles went 3-0 at the PSAC Crossover action, recording a .355 attack percentage, knocking down 30 kills, adding 25 digs and four service aces, Naumann’s 11 kills, three service aces and .454 hitting percentage helped Lock Haven edge Edinboro 3-1. In the 3-1 victory over Mercyhurst, she had 13 kills with a sizzling .521 kill percentage and helped the Lady Eagles extend their winning streak to nine matches on the season.
