Shippensburg's BRYAN BEEGLE outraced the field at the Battle of the Buggy and has been named Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Beegle topped a field of 123 runners in winning this past weekend's Battle of the Buggy Race, co-hosted by Elizabethtown College and Millesville University in Lancaster's County Park. Behind Beegle's finish, the Shippensburg men placed second of 17 teams on the 6K course. Beegle registered the only sub-20 minute time at 19:58.81, 14 seconds ahead of the closest competitor.
