PSAC Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week - 3
There was limited action following teams returning from spring break, yet California’s HELENA VANEYSENDEYK put together an impressive showing in her two matches.

VanEysendeyk won both of her singles matches last week, helping California to a pair of dual meet victories. Playing at No. 1, she upended DePauw’s Janelle Arita (6-2, 6-1), ranked 17th in Division III, and won a 6-2, 6-2 battle against Maria Gasanova, the top player on a Grand Valley St. squad that is ranked No. 23 in Division II. VanEsyendeyk also registered an 8-4 win along with Anila Stanila in California’s doubles match up against Grand Valley St. She now has a stellar 21-1 singles record for the 2008-09 season.
