PSAC East Player of the Week
Mary Beth Green, West Chester

From her spot in goal, Green helped lead No. 5 West Chester to a pair of PSAC East wins last week as the Golden Rams clinched the PSAC East title with wins over second place Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg. She first made 15 saves in a 12-7 victory over the Huskies and then followed that up with 11 saves in a 20-5 win over Warriors, which clinched at least a tie for the Eastern Division championship and the top seed from the East in the conference tournament for the Golden Rams. In addition to averaging 13 saves per contest, which included several point-blank stops in the win over Bloomsburg, Green also collected two ground balls and yielded an average of just six goals per game. Green becomes the second different West Chester player to be named the PSAC East Player of the Week this year and it gives the Golden Rams three honorees in six weeks.
