Bloomsburg, Pa. - The California (Pa.) women's tennis team captured its third consecutive PSAC team championship with a 5-0 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday. The Vulcans won all three doubles matches and won two singles matches to clinch the match with four singles matches still in progress.
Either Cal or Bloomsburg has now won the last six PSAC women's tennis team championships, as Bloom had a three-year run as champions from 2004-06 before Cal's current three-year run. Slippery Rock defeated Kutztown 5-1 in the consolation match to finish third.
