Bloomsburg’s KELSEY QUIGLEY earns her second PSAC East Player of the Week award of the year after leading the Huskies to a pair of wins last week to help them strengthen their hold on second place in the Eastern Division. Lock Haven’s LEIGH TITUS is this week’s PSAC West Player of the Week for the first time this year after her efforts helped the Lady Eagles to a pair of wins last week as well, including an upset win over Gannon, moving the Eagles into a tie for first place in the Western Division. 


PSAC East Player of the Week
Kelsey Quigley, Bloomsburg
Senior, Attacker
Lansdale, Pa./Methacton

Quigley scored a total of nine goals and recorded one assist for 10 points to lead Bloomsburg to a 2-0 week with wins over East Stroudsburg and Millersville last week and for her efforts is the PSAC East Player of the Week for the second time this season. Her nine goals came on just 13 total shots. She also added a total of 12 ground balls and two caused turnovers on the week. Against East Stroudsburg, she scored four goals on just six shots and picked up nine ground balls to help the Huskies to a 13-9 win over the Warriors. She then netted five goals on just seven shots and recorded an assist to go along with three ground balls in a 17-8 win over Millersville. With the two wins, Bloomsburg cemented its hold on second place in the PSAC East and remained just one game behind first place West Chester.


PSAC West Player of the Week
Leigh Titus, Lock Haven
Junior, Midfielder
Towaco, N.J./Montville

Titus recorded a total of 11 points with six goals and five assists to help No. 8 Lock Haven to a 2-0 week, including a big upset win over No. 6 Gannon on the road. Titus also recorded a total of five ground balls, two caused turnovers and two draw controls on the week to earn her first PSAC West Player of the Week award of the season. She scored three goals and recorded two assists and added two groundballs, two draw controls and a caused turnover in the Lady Eagles; 9-8 win at Gannon, assisting on the Amber Hoch’s game-winning tally. Then, in a 23-5 romp over Seton Hill, Titus tallied three goals and three assists and also added three ground balls and caused a turnover. With the win over Gannon, Lock Haven moved a game ahead of the Golden Knights in the PSAC West standings and into a first place tie with Mercyhurst.
