NCAA Bracket
The Lock Haven women's lacrosse team advance to the NCAA Division II women's lacrosse final four with a 17-11 victory over Mercyhurst on Saturday. The second-seeded Lady Eagles will now take on top-seeded Limestone in the regional championship/national semifinal game on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Salem, Va.
After avenging a home loss to Mercyhurst earlier in the year with their NCAA first round victory, the Lady Eagles (17-3) will have a chance at redemption against the Saints of Limestone, who were responsible for one of Lock Haven's other two losses on the year. Limestone topped Lock Haven by one goal, 11-10 back on March 6 in what was just the second game of the year for Lock Haven but the fourth contest of the season for Limestone. The Saints received an automatic bid into the final four as the top seed in the South Region.
C.W. Post will take on Adelphi in the other national semifinal at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The national championship game will be next Sunday, May 17 at 12:00 p.m. and will be televised nationally on CBS College Sports.
