Clarion's JENNA RINKER had an impressive collegiate debut and has been recognized by the PSAC as the Women's Golf Athlete of the Week.

Playing in her first collegiate match, Clarion freshman Jenna Rinker won medalist honors at the Baldwin-Wallace Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational this past weekend.  Rinker shot a two-day total of 152, eight strokes over par, to win the tournament by four strokes.

Rinker's efforts helped Clarion finish in second place out of 10 competiting teams, falling behind only Division I Cleveland St.  Her 1-over  par 73 during the opening round marked a tournament best, four strokes ahead of second-place Katie Broere of Cleveland St., who carded a 77 on day two.
