PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week - 4
Clarion's JARED SCHMADER had yet another stellar outing and has been selected the PSAC Athlete of the Week for Men's Golf.

Schmader took home medalist honors for the eigth time in his collegiate career, this time capturing the Guy W. Kuhn Invitational hosted by Allegheny College September 20-21. The tournament was held on at the par-72 Meadville Country Club.
Schmader stood in second place after his opening-round 71 on Sunday, then posted a 73 on Monday for a two-day even-par score of 144. His total was three strokes better than a trio of competiors in a field of 93 finishers. Both his scores were one shot off the best rounds on each day.
Schmader's efforts led Clarion to a second-place team finish. The Golden Eagles shot a two-day total of 609, seven strokes off the pace of tournament champion California.
