Colern made a season and career-high 17 saves to help lead C.W. Post to a double overtime 4-3 win over No. 4 Kutztown on Saturday for the Pioneers’ first PSAC East victory of the year. Of her 17 saves, eight came in the overtime periods, including six in the first and two in the second. After allowing three goals in the first 48 minutes of the game, Colern became a wall in the latter half of the second period and the overtimes, as she did not allow a goal for the final 44:26 of the game.
