East Stroudsburg's FRANK FEZZA won for the first time while competing in only his second race at the collegiate level.  For his efforts, he has been named Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Fezza won for the first time in his collegiate career, outracing a field of 107 runners at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University. His time of 25:34 on the 8K course was six seconds better than teammate Greg Laraia, who finished in second and 13 seconds better than the top non-ESU runner. With six runners in the top nine, the Warriors won the 11-team event by 45 points over second-place Wilmington.
