JOSH ARTHUR captured his first top finish in nearly two years and was recognized as the inaugural 2009 Athlete of the Week for Men's Cross Country.

In his first intercollegiate race since returning from a redshirt year, Arthur topped the field at the Daniel Walker Invitational, hosted by Buffalo State. Arthur covered the five miles in a course-record setting time of 26:21.43, which led Edinboro to the team title over six other squads. Arthur finished roughly 11 seconds ahead of the next closest runner and led a pack of Fighting Scots that had five of the top eight finishers.
