California's JENNA ROTHERMEL has registered back-to-back low scores for her Vulcan squad earning her accolades as the PSAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week.

Rothermel has been the team’s top scorer in each of its two season-opening matches. She began the season with a 12-over 156 at the Ferris State Invitational, placing 13th out of 106 golfers and leading her squad to a fourth-place showing out of 18 teams.

Most recently she carded a two-day 158 (14-over) at the Laker Fall Classic hosted by Grand Valley State. Seven strokes ahead of her closest teammate, Rothermel led California to a sixth-place effort out of 16 teams. Her back-to-back rounds of 79 earned placed her in a tie for ninth out of 96 participants.
