Shippensburg freshman Keith Dahlhiemer went 3-1 at the East Region Duals on his way to being honored as PSAC's Athlete of the Week.

Dahlheimer had a solid outing this weekend at the East Region Duals hosted by Newberry College. Wrestling at 197 pounds, Dahlhiemer went 3-1 as he recorded three pins and nearly edged the reigning Division II National Champion in his other match. On Friday, he opened against Newberry's Keeno Griffin and wrestled one of the most competitive matches of the night but came up short, 7-4. He rebounded with a victory by fall over Belmont Abbey's Tom McGee in 5:51.
Dahlhiemer returned to the mat on Saturday, with a pin over Justin Hoover of St. Andrew's Presbyterian in just 36 seconds. However, his most important victory of the weekend came in the finale against Limestone. With Shippensburg trailing the Saints 18-10 heading into the final two bouts, Dahlheimer recorded a pin in 1:12 that set the stage for SU's heavyweight who completed the come from behind victory over the region's number seven team when he won by major decision.
