Lock Haven, Pa. - The field has been set for the 2010 PSAC Women's Basketball Tournament. Action will get underway on Tuesday night, March 2 with four quarterfinal games held at the site of the higher seed. The four remaining teams will then advance to the semifinals, which will be held at the highest remaining seed out of the PSAC West next Friday, with the championship set for next Saturday night.

All quarterfinal games will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. In the East, No. 4 seed West Chester will visit No. 1 seed Millersville while No. 3 seed Bloomsburg will go right back to visit No. 2 Kutztown in a rematch of today's game won by Bloomsburg 72-67, also at Kutztown. Bloomsburg and West Chester each finished iwth 8-6 marks in PSAC East play and the Huskies got the nod for the third seed over the Golden Rams by virtue of their two wins over Kutztown while West Chester dropped both of its matchups with the Golden Bears this year.

In the West, No. 1 seed and national No. 1 Gannon will host No. 4 Edinboro in an Erie-County matchup. The Fighting Scots nabbed the last playoff spot out of the Western Division today with a 78-66 win over Clarion. No. 3 IUP will visit No. 2 California in a rematch of the last three PSAC Tournament championship games. The Crimson Hawks are the three-time defending tournament champions but regardless of the result of that quarterfinal, it will be a different matchup in this year's championship game.
