PSAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - 6
Slippery Rock's Amanda Seigworth and Millersville's Michele Frayne have been named this week's PSAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for their impressive efforts that landed them atop Division II.

Slippery Rock’s junior Amanda Seigworth had an outstanding week with that started Thursday at the Penn Relays, where she was the top Division II finisher in the 400-meter hurdles with a then season best time of 1:00.86. At the time, it was the seventh-best in the nation and the best in the PSAC.
Seigworth then followed up her Thursday performance with an even more impressive performance on Saturday at the Ashland Alumni Invitational. In the meet she won the 400m hurdles with an NCAA automatic qualifier of 1:00.03, which is the fifth best time in the nation and tops in the PSAC. She then ran the second best time in the PSAC in the 100m hurdles with a provisional qualifier of 14.43 seconds, which puts her 25th in the Nation. Seigworth wasn’t done though, as she also ran legs of the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. The Rock 4x100m posted the best time in the PSAC this season at 48.16 seconds, nearly a full second faster than any other PSAC school. The 4x400m posted a time of 3:52.70, the second-best time in the PSAC this season. Both relay teams placed second at the meet.

Senior Michele Frayne also had an outstanding week that started Thursday at the Penn Relays, winning the javelin and placing second in the long jump. Frayne also posted a second place finish in the heptathlon. Frayne sat in third after day one, half way through her events. Frayne was able to jump up a spot to finish with a season-high total of 4,764 points which is the 17th best among Division II athletes. Frayne captured top honors in the javelin with a distance of 134’-08”, which is a NCAA qualifying distance and is the 18th best mark amongst the nation.
