Four teams from the PSAC have been selected to participate in the 2010 NCAA Division II baseball tournament as the PSAC will account for two-thirds of the six-team Atlantic Regional.

Kutztown was awarded the No. 1 seed and will host the six-team regional for the second straight year at West Lawn, Pa. at Owls Field at Ted Palka Park. The four-day event runs from this Thursday, May 13 through Sunday, May 16.

In addition to Kutztown, the PSAC runners-up at last week's PSAC Tournament, PSAC East champion West Chester, Mansfield, and PSAC tournament champion California were also awarded berths. West Chester got the No. 2 seed, Mansfield got the No. 5 seed and Cal is the No. 6 seed.

Kutztown will take on California in the first game of the regional in what will be a rematch of the PSAC championship game. West Chester faces Mansfield in the second game while Seton Hill, the No. 3 seed and champions of the WVIAC, will take on fellow WVIAC foe West Virginia State in the third game.

The winner of the Atlantic Regional will advance onto the NCAA Division II College World Series, which will be held May 22-29 in Cary, N.C. West Chester is the defending champions of the Atlantic Region, having won the region and advanced onto the World Series last year.
