Championship game now set for live broadcast on pcntv.com

Saturday's PSAC field hockey championship game has been postponed until Monday at 6:00 p.m. due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. The game will air live on pcntv.com.

Shippensburg 4, C.W. Post 1
Shippensburg scored three second half goals and outshot C.W. Post 25-7 while advancing to the PSAC Championship game. Bre White scored two goals for the Raiders, while Taylor Jones and Jamie Levy each added a score. Shippensburg will now face Bloomsburg in the Championship game Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. The game can be seen live at pcntv.com or on tape delay at 2:00 p.m. on PCN.

Bloomsburg 6, IUP 0
Bloomsburg got six goals from six different players as the Huskies outshot the Crimson Hawks 18-8 en route to a 6-0 win over the Crimson Hawks in Friday's first semifinal. The win advances the Huskies to the PSAC championship game for the 10th straight year on Saturday, where they will be aiming for their fourth consecutive title. They will face the winner of today's second semifinal between C.W. Post and host Shippensburg.

The Huskies' goals were scored by Nicole Bruce, Felicia Domenici, Jenna DiSabatino, Brooke Simonovich, Amanda Riley and Alexis Weber while Simonovich, Weber and Brittany Mathews each tallied assists.

C.W. Post upset West Chester in a matchup of teams making their first ever PSAC Tournament appearance while IUP topped Slippery Rock in the teams' second matchup in the last four days on Tuesday afteroon. With the wins, the Pioneers and Crimson Hawks both advance to the PSAC Tournament semifinals on Friday afternoon at Shippensburg.

C.W. Post 2, West Chester 1
After trailing for nearly the entire match, C.W. Post's Helene Bruckner scored the game-tying goal with less than a minute to play in regulation to send the game into overtime. After a scoreless first overtime period, Carlee Dragon hit home a rebound off her own shot for the game-winner in the fifth minute of the second extra frame to lift the Pioneers to a 2-1 upset win over West Chester.

C.W. Post, in its fourth year in the PSAC as an associate member for field hockey and in its first PSAC Tournament appearance, was outshot by West Chester 25-15 and the Golden Rams also had a 23-8 advantage in penalty corners. West Chester, in its first year in the PSAC for field hockey after making the drop down to Division II from Division I this season, was also making its first appearance in the PSAC Tournament and off an early goal from Alisha Moran in the eighth minute, led for most of the game. But Post's Devon Trenkle made 14 saves in the contest, including eight in the first half to keep the game close.

IUP 2, Slippery Rock 0
Anouk Sickman scored two first half goals and that was all the Crimson Hawks needed as IUP rebounded from its regular-season ending loss to The Rock on Saturday to top Rock 2-0. Slippery Rock, which topped IUP on Saturday in overtime to qualify for its first PSAC Tournament since 1987, was limited to just six shots by IUP, which had only six shots itself.

Sickman scored her first goal in the 12th minute off an assist from Erin Shirk and then added a second tally in the 23rd minute. Those were the only two shots on goal of the entire game for IUP. Both teams had just one shot apiece in the second half.
