Lock Haven, Pa. - Edinboro's Chris Honeycutt has been selected as the week one PSAC Wrestler of the Week.

Honeycutt has had an impressive start to his season by winning his first two tournaments on the year.  The reining PSAC Wrestler of the Year started off by winning the Buffalo Open.  Honeycutt recorded two tech falls in the tournament, and defeated nationally-ranked Matt Wilps of Pittsburgh in the finals.  He then went on to win the Michigan State Open with a dominating performance, recording a fall, a technical fall and a major decision in winning four bouts against wrestlers from Tiffin, Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State. The senior is currently 9-0 and ranked fourth nationally by both InterMat and Amateur Wrestling News at 197 lbs.
