The NACDA Directors' Cup is awarded each year to the top athletics program in each NCAA Division and the NAIA. After beginning in 1993-94 for NCAA Division I, the program was expanded in 1995-96 to include NCAA Division II and III and NAIA. Each institution is awarded points in a pre-determined number of sports for men and women based on finishes at each respective NCAA tournament or event.
The NACDA Directors' Cup is currently sponsored by Learfield Sports and is given out annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). The Division II Cup includes finishes in 14 sports - seven men's and seven women's.
