PSAC WEEK SIX GAME NOTES

PSAC QUICK HITS

UNDEFEATED

• Heading into week six there are five PSAC teams undefeated in divisional play with 2-0 records. Bloomsburg, West Chester and Shippensburg from the East and IUP and Gannon in the West. Of those five teams, Bloomsburg, West Chester and IUP are 5-0 on the year. 

CROSSOVER RECAP

• In the season’s second round of crossovers the East and West split with four wins apiece. 

• Bloomsburg, Shippensburg, West Chester, and East Stroudsburg won in the East. Slippery Rock, Edinboro, IUP, and Mercyhurst won in the West. 

• Since 2008, the West has won 79 crossover wins, while the East has won 71. 

• During the season’s first crossover in week two, the West won five games and the East won three. California, Clarion, IUP, Mercyhurst, and Slippery Rock posted wins for the West, while Bloomsburg, East Stroudsburg and West Chester were the East’s winners.

ATOP THE D-II RANKS

• IUP ranks first in total defense (213.4ypg), scoring defense (6.0ppg), passes intercepted (12), and red zone defense (33.3% 3-of-9). 

• Mercyhurst ranks first in red zone offense (100% 18-of-18). 

• Gannon ranks first in 4th down conversion percentage (0% 0-of-4). 

• Bloomsburg’s Franklyn Quiteh is first in scoring (16.8ppg) and rushing touchdowns (13).

• Slippery Rock’s James McCombie is first in punting (46.7 yards/punt).

• Shippensburg’s Jake Metz and Bloomsburg’s Larry Webster are tied for first in pass sacks (1.6 sacks/game). 

• Shippensburg’s Jake Metz is first in tackles for loss (2.6 tfl/game).

• Shippensburg’s Trevor Harman ranks first in receiving touchdowns (9).
