Celeste Robinson led Millersville to a 1-0 start in PSAC East play with a career night at Bloomsburg. The Kregsville, Pa. native dropped 25 points and seven assists, both of which are career-highs for the sophomore. She also tallied eight rebounds and three steals in the 80-74 win. Robinson shot a red-hot 58.8 percent from the field (10-of-17) including 2-of-4 from behind the arc. |

Elkins Park, Pa. / Abington Friends
Shippensburg's Lauren Gold averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 assists in a 2-0 week for the 4-1 Raiders. She shot 17-of-18 at the charity stripe line. Against Lock Haven, Gold had 19 points on 4-of-6 shooting and was 11-of-11 at the free throw line. She added five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. At Cheyney, Gold had 18 points with six rebounds and eight assists. Gold leads the league in assists and is second in assist/turnover ratio. She leads the league with 40 free throws and is 40-of-43 (93.0) this season. |

Linsday Stamp
IUP (Jr. / G)
Erie, Pa. / Mercyhurst Prep
Lindsay Stamp scored a career-high 35 points on 13-of-19 shooting in a 96-72 win over Pitt-Johnstown. The 35 points were three short of tying the IUP single game record of 38 points. Stamp also went a perfect 7-of-7 from three-point range, tying an IUP single game record for three-pointers made. She also had seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and a pair of steals in 34 minutes. Stamp scored 21 points in a 70-45 win at Clarion, going 8-of-14 from the field, including 3-of-6 from three-point range. The Erie native added eight rebounds, a pair of assists, and a block in 30 minutes of playing time. |

Miki Glenn

Bridgeport, Pa. / Bridgeport
California's Miki Glenn led her team in scoring, rebounding, assists and minutes last week, as Cal U took a split in PSAC West play. She combined for 36 points after shooting 47.8 percent from the field, including 83.3 percent from beyond the arc, and making .900 percent from the free-throw line. Glenn finished with 13 points, three rebounds, and four assists at Gannon. The West Virginia native then established season highs with 23 points, nine rebounds, and six assists while playing all 40 minutes in a victory over Slippery Rock. |

Bloomsburg
Bloomsburg split its first two conference games of the year, dropping an 80-74 decision to Millersville before bouncing back with a 66-62 win at Lock Haven. The Huskies (3-1, 1-1 PSAC East) has not suffered back-to-back losses vs. PSAC East competition since February 2010. Senior guard
Catherine Noack averages 20.3 points per game through four contests while redshirt sophomore forward
Adreana Sadowski scored a career-high 25 points vs. Millersville. The Huskies return to action at home in non-conference play vs. Goldey-Beacom on Dec. 1.
California
Cal U opened PSAC West play by taking a split with No. 2 Gannon and Slippery Rock.The Vulcans started the year at 0-4 for the first time in over two decades while facing teams that compiled nearly 100 wins last season. Cal U is just 1-8 with three post-season losses at the Hammermill Center since Gannon joined the PSAC in the 2008-09 season. The Vulcans have won 24-consecutive meetings against The Rock with their last loss in the series coming during the 2001-02 campaign. True freshman guard

Cheyney
Cheyney shot 47% from the field and came up short against Shippensburg 76-68. Cheyney had not shot that well from the field in over a year. Kia Whitley Duncan dished out 11 assists. No Cheyney player has recorded double digits in assists in the past 10 years.
Kyra Hines Allen paced Cheyney with 21 points in defeat. Earlier in the week the Lady Wolves fell to cross town rival West Chester 93-44.
Amber Genwright led Cheyney with 12 points.
Cristina Jordan chipped in 11. Cheyney steps out of league play this week with contests at the University of the Sciences (11/26) and Lincoln (11/30).
Clarion
When Clarion scored 95 points Wed. at Slippery Rock, it marked the first time since Nov. 2004 the Golden Eagles scored 90-plus points in back-to-back games. Sophomore

Emma Fickel has hit a 3-pointer in all four games this year while scoring in double digits in three of them. She had 837 career points while hitting 189 career 3-pointers. She is one of two Golden Eagles with at least 750 points, as

East Stroudsburg
ESU (1-2, 1-1) opened PSAC East play with a 63-56 win over Mansfield Wednesday, before falling late at Kutztown, 59-58, on Saturday. Warriors led Mansfield by 23 late in the 1st half before Mounties came all the way back, but outscored the visitors 8-0 in the last 3:18. Saturday at Kutztown, ESU led by 9 with 12 minutes left, and 3 with 38 seconds to go, but a late 3-point play was the difference. Jr. F
Jessica Martin had 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks in the win over Mansfield.
Martin moved into the top 25 in PSAC history in career blocks, currently 23rd with 148. She had a PSAC freshman record with 76, followed by 61 last year. Leads PSAC with 3.7 blocks per game (11 total blocks are more than 8 PSAC teams). Averaging 14.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and shooting 54.2%. Fr. F
Allison Howard (6 points, 12 rebounds vs. Mansfield) is 8th in the PSAC with 9.7 rebounds per game. ESU is 2nd in PSAC in scoring defense (60.3) and field goal percentage defense (33.5), but 17th in scoring (59.3 ppg) and last in field goal percentage and 3-point percentage (19.1). Warriors host 49th Annual Pocono Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
Edinboro
Fighting Scots begin the season 2-0, rallying from halftime deficits in each, averaging 86 points per game, the second most in the PSAC. University of Buffalo transfer
Valerie Majewski leads team with 18 points per game and is also second on the team with six rebounds per game. Majewski scored a career-high 21 points against Urbana, also the season-high for the Fighting Scots.
Aignee’ Freeland posted two double-doubles in as many games, the same amount she had while winning 2013 PSAC West Freshman of the Year. Freeland is averaging 17 points per game and 16 rebounds per game. Freeland’s 18 points and 17 rebounds were each the second-most in her career.
Hope Mancini is the team’s third leading scorer, averaging 16.5 points per game after receiving her first two career starts. Mancini scored 20 points against Urbana, a career-high.
Laurel Lindsay is playing well all-around averaging 12.5 points per game, five and a half rebounds, and four assists.
Katie Collins scored a career-high 15 points against Pitt-Johnstown, supplying a significant role off the bench.
Gannon
The Gannon Lady Knights open the season with a 4-0 record for the first time since the 2009-10 season. The Lady Knights are a perfect 2-0 in PSAC West Division action with wins over California (Pa.) and Seton Hill. The Lady Knights averaged 76.5 points against their PSAC foes, while allowing an average of 65.0. On Nov. 23, the Seton Hill Griffins were only able to force nine Lady Knight turnovers, marking the first time Gannon has recorded less than 10 turnovers in a game since Nov. 21, 2012 versus Ursuline. Gannon will travel to the Hawaiian Islands for the Oahu Classic in Honolulu on Nov. 28-29. The Lady Knights open the Classic against the Chaminade Silverswords on Nov. 28 with tipoff set for 7 p.m. EST. The next day, the Lady Knights will meet the BYU-Hawaii Seasiders at 9 p.m. EST. In both games, it will mark the first meeting in school history.
IUP
The Crimson Hawks extended their record to a perfect 4-0 with wins over PSAC foes Pitt-Johnstown and Clarion last week. IUP had huge help from Jr. G
Lindsay Stamp, who averaged 28.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, and shot 63.6 pct. from the floor and 76.9 pct. from three-point range. Jr. F
Ashley Stoner scored in double-figures each night while Jr. G
Amy Fairman had 15 points against UPJ and a career-high 11 rebounds against Clarion. The Crimson Hawks will play at Dowling (NY) on Tuesday night.
Kutztown
The Golden Bears (3-2, 1-0) won back-to-back games in exciting fashion last week on their home floor. KU first knocked out the University of the Sciences in the final 30 seconds to play, 52-50.
Advia Campbell put back an offensive rebound to tie the game at 50-50, followed by freshman
Kelsey Watson forcing a steal and drawing the foul, winning the game at the free throw line. KU found itself down by one to East Stroudsburg with under 10 seconds to play, when freshman
Jess Harvey drove through the lane to convert the go-ahead layup. ESU drove the floor one last time, but
Alyssa Bonenberger’s steal in the point with three seconds to go secured the 59-58 victory.
Bonenberger leads the team in both scoring and rebounds, averaging 12.4 and 9.0, respectively. So. G
Natalya Lee is averaging 11.4 points per game, while leading the team with 15 steals.
Harvey leads the Golden Bears with 3.4 assists per game and is shooting .556 from beyond the arc (5-for-9).
Lock Haven
Lock Haven (1-4, 0-2 PSAC) has lost four straight games after opening the season with a non-conference win over Wilmington (Del.). LHU went 0-2 in PSAC East play last weekend, with losses to Shippensburg (Away) and Bloomsburg (Home). Leading the way for LHU is Emily Daugherty is sixth in the PSAC in scoring with 18.6 points per game. She had a career-high in the loss to NYIT in the second game of the season. Marrysa Moyer has been sensational for Lock Haven and recorded a monster double-double in each of The Haven’s games last week. Over the two-game span, she averaged 16 points and 15.5 rebounds. She scored 19 points and pulled down 18 rebounds at Shippensburg. Moyer followed that up 13 points and 13 rebounds on Saturday vs. Bloomsburg for back-to-back monster double-doubles. Moyer is second in the PSAC in rebounds/game with 13.2 on the season.
Mansfield
The Mountaineers dropped a pair of PSAC East games at East Stroudsburg and against West Chester ... in the loss against ESU, Mansfield rallied from a 23-point first half deficit to take a lead late in the game but ESU scored the final eight points of the game to pull out the win ... sophomore Katie Fitzpatrick had an outstanding week recorded two double-doubles.
Mercyhurst
Mercyhurst won its Western Division opener on November 20, beating Seton Hill, 85-75, at the MAC.
Alayna White scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while
Adrienne Kloecker had 22 points and eight boards. Freshman
Mariah Penascino posted 16 points and six assists. The 85 points scored are the most by a Laker team since December 30, 2007, when Mercyhurst dropped 89 against Lock Haven. On November 23, the Lakers fell, 52-50, at Lake Erie.
Kloecker recorded 20 points, while
Penascino dished out 10 assists. Mercyhurst returns to action on Tuesday, November 26, at Tiffin.
Millersville
Millersville opened its 2013-14 PSAC East play with an impressive 80-74 victory at Bloomsburg on Wednesday night.
Celeste Robinson led the way with career-highs of 25 points and seven assists to go with eight rebounds and three steals.
Carly Gallagher was in foul trouble much of the first half but scored 11 second-half points to finish with 15 on the night.
Gallagher also tallied four rebounds, two steals and one assist. The third scorer in double-figures was
Shelby Reimer with 13 points who was making her first career start.
Reimer also brought down five boards and dished out three helpers.
Yasmin Cooper was a force down low with 14 rebounds to go with eight points, two steals, one block, and one assist.
Pitt-Johnstown
Pitt-Johnstown played its first to PSAC games since joining the conference in July.
Seton Hill
The Griffin women's first games in PSAC play have not started out the way the team would want with two losses to the Erie teams. SHU dropped an 85-75 decision on the road at Mercyhurst before falling 80-66 to #2 Gannon at home on Saturday. SHU is now 3-2 overall. Katie Gattuso posted double doubles in both of the losses with 11 and 11 against Mercyhurst and 20 and 13 against Gannon. Meghan Mastroianni averaged 14.5 points per game during the week. The Griffins have four players averaging double figures led by Gattuso's 18.2 ppg. Gattuso is also averaging over 11 rebounds per game. SHU will leave PSAC play this week when they host Johnson C Smith on Saturday
Shippensburg
SHIP beat Lock Haven and Cheyney to improve to 4-1, 2-0 PSAC E. SU went a combined 64-of-83 at the FT line (77.1%) in its two wins. SU has scored 152 second-half points in its last three games. Shippensburg went 22-of-22 from the free-throw line at Cheyney before it recorded its first miss midway through the second half. As it normally does, SHIP leads the league in free throws (119) and FT attempts (160).
Slippery Rock
Slippery Rock lost 95-80 to Clarion and 79-52 to California.
West Chester
West Chester defeated Cheyney 93-44 and Mansfield 84-75.
