PSAC QUICK HITS

 PSAC PLAYOFF PICTURE

• Two teams from each division are in contention to capture their respective divisional titles for the opportunity to play for the conference title on November 16.

EAST BREAKDOWN

- Bloomsburg can capture the East title if it defeats West Chester.
- West Chester will win the East title if it defeats Bloomsburg.
- If there is a three-way tie for first between West Chester, Bloomsburg and Shippensburg. Bloomsburg would win the tiebreaker with a head-to-head win over West Chester and a Shippensburg loss to Slippery Rock earlier this season.

WEST BREAKDOWN

- Slippery Rock will win the West with a win over Seton Hill.
- Gannon would win the West if Slippery Rock loses to Seton Hill and Gannon defeats IUP.
- Slippery Rock will win the West if Gannon loses.


• None of the four teams fighting for a chance to play for the league crown have won a PSAC Championship since reinstating the “state game” in 2008. The “state game” was played each year from 1960-87 and reinstated in 2008.

Bloomsburg won the PSAC title in 1985

Slippery Rock won each PSAC title from 1972-1974

West Chester won the PSAC title in 1971

Gannon has never won a PSAC title - joined the league in 2008
