Emilia Osborne has been named the West PSAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, while Kutztown’s
Rachel Grula has been named the East PSAC Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Emilia Osborne of IUP went a perfect 8-0 last week to help the Crimson Hawks to a 4-0 team mark to wrap up the regular season. Osborne is currently on a six-match singles win streak. She tallied four wins last week, including a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins over Caitlin Clemons of Clarion and Alex Barr of West Liberty. Osborne also teamed with Tanya Timko for four more doubles wins, including a 9-8 (9-8) victory over the region's 10th ranked team of Lauren Coggins and Janelle Krantz of Slippery Rock.

Rachel Grula, Kutztown

Kutztown’s Rachel Grula went 2-0 last week in singles PSAC play and stretched her overall winning streak to three as the Golden Bears sealed the first perfect conference season in school history. Also going 3-1 in doubles action, Grula won 6-2, 6-0 against her East Stroudsburg and Bloomsburg opponents. In singles play, she did not allow more than two points against her in either of her matches.

J.J. Cooke has been named the PSAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week.

J.J. Cooke defeated Mercyhurst's Mike Vinopal in straight sets to clinch a 5-4 victory for West Chester. More importantly however, Cooke held the Golden Rams clinch first place in the regular-season standings and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming postseason tournament. Cooke also defeated Edinboro's James Cooper, 7-5, 6-2, which tied the match at 4-4. Cooke trailed in the first set, 4-1, before rallying to win 7-5.
