Kutztown's Ridhima Borooah Snags Champion Scholar Award for Women's Tennis Friday, April 19, 2013 11:31 AM Indiana, Pa. - Kutztown's Ridhima Borooah of Kutztown has been named the recipient of the PSAC Champion Scholar Award at the PSAC Women's Team Tennis Championship hosted by IUP. The PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 89 award and honor the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's 23 team championship finals. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 89 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 89 NCAA championships across all three divisions - I, II and III. A senior majoring in business administration and accounting, Borooah is a native of Guwahati-Assam, India. She holds a 3.95 grade point average, covering 126 credit hours. Boorah's Player Profile
