Mercyhurst's Ryan Lund Repeats as PSAC Men's Soccer Champion Scholar Friday, November 7, 2014 4:00 PM Erie, Pa - Mercyhurst's junior Ryan Lund was named the PSAC Men's Soccer Champion Scholar on Friday prior to the PSAC Men's Soccer Championship Semifinals. The PSAC Champion Scholar Award, begun during the 2011-12 academic year, is modeled after the NCAA’s Elite 89 award and honors the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC’s 23 team championship finals. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 89 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship final sites of the 89 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II, and III. Lund, a senior, has achieved 97 credits towards a finance degree. The South Euclid, Ohio native currently holds a 3.773 grade point average. Ryan Lund's Player Profile
