Milea Reynolds Repeats as PSAC Women's Cross Country Champion Scholar

Milea Reynolds was awarded the PSAC Women's Cross Country Champion Scholar on Saturday at the 2014 PSAC Cross Country Championships. It is Reynolds’ second consecutive year being named the Champion Scholar for women’s cross country.
The PSAC Champion Scholar Award, begun during the 2011-12 academic year, is modeled after the NCAA’s Elite 89 award and honors the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC’s 23 team championship finals. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 89 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship final sites of the 89 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II, and III.
Reynolds, a senior, holds a 4.0 grade point average and has completed 113 credits toward her degree in secondary education and English. The Rossiter, Pennsylvania native attended Punxsutawney High School.
