PSAC WEEK 2 GAME NOTES
PSAC QUICK HITS
COUNT THOSE CROSSOVERS
• Saturday marks the first of three PSAC divisional crossover dates this season. In addition to this week, crossover play will occur next week and the last week of the season.
• In May, the PSAC Board of Directors passed a motion that all PSAC mandated divisional crossover results shall count in the conference standings. The last crossover on the football schedule will not count in the conference standings.
• In 2013, the West won 14 crossover games compared the East’s 10. In the last six seasons, the West has won 84 crossovers to the East’s 74.
SPLIT DECISIONS
• In non-conference action last week PSAC teams posted a 6-6 record (6-5 D-II) and outscored opponents 333-309.
• The PSAC now holds a 57-37 overall record against non-conference foes.
300+ PASSERS, 100+ RUSHERS & 120+ RECEIVERS
• In week one, four PSAC quarterbacks posted more than 300 yards through the air, while five rushers were over 100 yards and three receivers were over 120. Leading the passing game was East Stroudsburg’s Matt Soltes with 384 yards, while Slippery Rock’s Shamar Greene was the league’s top rusher with 195 yards and Shippensburg’s Sheldon Mayer led the receiving game with 194 yards.
