Shippensburg’s Megan Lundy Named PSAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Champion Scholar
Edinboro, Pa. - Shippensburg senior Megan Lundy has been named the PSAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Champion Scholar. The award was presented on Sunday morning prior to the completion of the PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Edinboro University.
The PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 89 award and honor the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's 23 team championship finals. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 90 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 90 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II, and III.
A native of York, Pa. and a graduate of Central York, Lundy has completed 111 credits towards her degree in early childhood education and currently holds a cumulative grade point average of 4.00.
