The 2016 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference football season will be underway this week with 14 of the league's 16 teams slated for action.

Two-time defending PSAC Champion Slippery Rock is set to host New Haven on Saturday in one of the key opening contests.  Others games involving pairs coming off winning seasons are Bloomsburg at Stonehill and Kutztown at Assumption.  Mercyhust will take on Ashland and Seton Hill will battle Bowie State in games involving PSAC squads traveling to NCAA playoff participants from 2015.  

In all, 62 players tabbed as All-PSAC selections from a year ago are set to return, including seven apiece from divisional favorites IUP and West Chester.
