DAY FOUR RECAP
YORK, Pa. ---
The West Chester Golden Rams swept the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships for the 12th consecutive year while action concluded Saturday evening at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.
 
The WCU men dominated while cruising to their 20th consecutive title. The Golden Rams scored 1884 points and saw sophomore Dylan North win the 1650 free in a time of 16:30.47.
 
WCU’s Kohle Kerchner claimed the gold in the 200 back with a time of 1:50.77.
 
Bloomsburg finished second in the team standings with 1159 points while Sam Feiser claimed another title. Feiser won the men’s 100 free in a sparkling time of 44.88 seconds. The Huskies won the 400 free relay in 3:03.57.
 
Clarion’s Ben Spencer capped off an impressive week with a win in the men’s 200 breaststroke. Spencer need only 2:00.50 to claim the crown.
 
On the women’s side, WCU won its 12th consecutive championship while Georgia Wright earned a pair of victories. Wright opened the night with a win in the 1650 free in 16:39.58 before returning to win the 200 back in 1:58.96.
 
The Golden Rams earned the top spot in the 400 free relay in 3:26.64.
 
BU’s Nikki Young picked up a win in the 200 breaststroke after turning in a time of 2:17.07.
 
IUP’s Nicole Smith ended the week on a high note following a win in the women’s 100 free in 51.47.
 
The NCAA DII Swimming and Diving National Championships will take place March 14 – 17 in Greensboro, N.C.

DAY THREE RECAP
YORK, Pa. ---
West Chester sophomore Georgia Wright set a meet record in the 500 free while both WCU teams lead their respective standings following day three of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center Friday in York, Pa.
 
Wright continued her torrid run during her time with the Golden Rams after a record-setting performance with an impressive time of 4:49.72.
 
WCU sophomore Dylan North followed suit with another title to his name while he won the 500 free in 4:32.76.
 
WCU added another top finisher when Shota Nakano won the men’s 100 breaststroke in 55.64 seconds.
 
WCU’s Meghan Keithly tacked on another top finish while winning the women’s 200 fly in 2:02.73
 
Clarion’s Summer Dacheux led the charge in the women’s 100 backstroke and earned the crown with a time of 56.40.
 
Bloomsburg’s Josh Grzech won the men’s 100 back in 49.22.
 
Fellow Huskie, Nikki Young, earned another title in the women’s 100 breaststroke with a solid time of 1:02.32.
 
BU’s Sam Feiser added another win to his name while grabbing the men’s 200 fly title in 1:51.14.
 
WCU capped the night off with a win in the women’s 800 free relay after turning a time of 7:30.18.
 
Clarion’s men grabbed the crown in the men’s 800 free relay after using a time of 6:42.91.
 
The final day of the championships will commence at 10 a.m. with prelims in the 100 free, 200 back, 200 breaststroke and all but one heat of the 1650 free.

DAY TWO RECAP
YORK, Pa. ---
Bloomsburg and West Chester’s men provided an entertaining 400 medley relay while tying for the top spot, highlighting day two of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center Thursday in York, Pa.
 
WCU and BU turned in a time of 3:19.34 in the event. WCU’s Austin Doss swam the last leg of the event and made up .28 of a second to deny BU of the victory.
 
The women’s 400 medley relay duplicated the entertainment while BU’s quartet of Sydney Mercer, Nikki Young, Courtney Middleton and Becca Cubbler bested WCU’s Megan Burns, Katelyn Chick, Meghan Keithly and Mikaela Lantz by .03 of a second.
 
Burns was crowned champion in the women’s 400 IM with a time of 4:22.98 while Keithly earned a title in the 100 fly in a sparkling time of 54.99 seconds.
 
BU’s Sam Feiser won the men’s 100 fly for the third consecutive season with a “B” cut of 48.60. Feiser joined Collin Hummell, Noah Cancro and Colin Bauer to win the men’s 200 free relay in 1:21.92.
 
IUP junior Nicole Smith claimed gold in the women’s 200 free with a time of 1:49.90.
 
WCU’s Morgan Haney, Lizzy Miller, Sydney Wareham and Lantz combined to turn in a time of 1:34.92 to win the 200 free relay.
 
Clarion sophomore Joseph Folz impressed with a “B” cut time and a title in the men’s 200 free with a time of 1:39.55.
 
WCU sophomore Dylan North paced the field in the men’s 400 IM with a time of 3:56.44.
 
Day three commences at 10 a.m. with prelims in the 500 free, 100 back, 100 breast and 200 fly.

DAY ONE RECAP
YORK, Pa. ---
West Chester’s 200 medley relay quartet set a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference record while competing in day one of the PSAC Swimming Championships at the Graham Aquatic Center Wednesday in York, Pa.
 
The quartet of Lizzy Miller, Katelyn Chick, Meghan Keithly and Mikaela Lantz turned in a time of 1:43.18 in the finals while topping an eight-year old record (Clarion, 1:43.61, 2009).
 
WCU’s Georgia Wright didn’t miss beat while repeating as the winner of the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:01.92.
 
Golden Ram Dylan North claimed the crown on the men’s side with a time of 9:19.06.
 
Shippensburg junior Steph O’Toole bested a pair of WCU athletes in the 200 IM while turning in a time of 2:01.71.
 
WCU’s Thomas McCormick claimed the 200 IM crown for the second consecutive season when he used 1:49.82 to complete the contest.
 
WCU sophomore Mikaela Lantz swiped the title in the women’s 50 free with a sparkling time of 23.23 seconds.
 
Bloomsburg senior Sam Feiser earned back-to-back titles in the men’s 50 free after swimming to a crown in 20.12.
 
Feiser joined teammates Josh Grzech, Paul Rocchi and Colin Bauer to win the men’s 200 medley relay in a solid time of 1:30.91.
 
On the women’s side, WCU leads the with 406 points while BU is second with 285.5 and Clarion sits third with 173.
 
BU’s men hold a 10-point advantage over WCU, 157-147, while Gannon is third with 101.
 
Day two begins at 10 a.m. with prelims for the 400 IM, 200 fly and 200 free.

CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Swimming Championships will take place February 21-24 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa.

West Chester's men claimed its 19th consecutive title in 2017 after posting 1007 points while Bloomsburg (836) and Clarion (368) rounded out the top three.
 
CU senior Ben Spencer seeks to cap off a solid career while ranking in the top 11 in seven different events.
 
IUP junior Colter Long will be a force throughout the week while he currently sits in the top five of five events.
 
WCU senior Shota Nakano has impressed in his final year with the Golden Rams while sitting in the top four of four events.

On the women's side, WCU’s women has won 11 consecutive titles after posting 1817 points while Bloomsburg (1073.5) and Shippensburg (796) finished second and third, respectively.

WCU's Georgia Wright claimed two NCAA DII titles last season (1000 and 1650 freestyle). She currently sits atop the PSAC in both categories as well as the 500-freestyle. Wright has been tabbed PSAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week on four occasions this season.

Shippensburg's Stephanie O'Toole has impressed this season and has posted a top-25 seed time in eight events.
 
CU senior Summer Dacheux seeks to cap off her collegiate career in winning fashion while she currently leads the PSAC in the 100 backstroke and sits third in the 200.
 
BU senior Nicole Young hopes to carry momentum into the championship after earning PSAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week in week seven. Young ranks in the top six in six different events (50 and 100 free, 100 back, 200 breast, 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley).

Events will commence each day at 10 a.m. Finals will start at 6 p.m., except for Saturday (5 p.m.).
