West Chester defeated Lock Haven 9-8 in overtime in the first semifinal on Saturday to advance to the national championship game. With the win, the Golden Rams avenged a blowout loss at the hands of Lock Haven just three weeks ago in the PSAC Championship game and will play in the national championship game for the sixth time in the last seven years. The Rams, national champions in 2008, will play the defending national champions, Adelphi, which defeated C.W. Lock Haven and West Chester have been selected to the NCAA Division II women's lacrosse tournament, giving the PSAC two of the three teams selected from the South Region.
