California, Pa. - Chelsea Norbuts' goal in the 78th minute broke a 1-1 tie and California's defense, which has allowed just nine goals all season, held on for the remainder of the contest to give the Vulcans a 2-1 win over Kutztown in the PSAC women's soccer championship game on Saturday afternoon. The win clinches the league's automatic berth for the Vulcans and it marks the first PSAC championship in program history for California.

Tournament MVP Carley Work assisted on the game-winning goal, which was just the second of the season for Norbuts. Breeanna Robinson scored the first goal of the game for the Vulcans off an assist from Erin Hogan to give Cal a 1-0 lead in the 36th minute. It was short-lived, however, as Kutztown's Shannon Pennock notched a goal just over a minute before halftime to tie the game.

Cal held a 20-8 advantage in shots and the Vulcans limited the Golden Bears to just two shots in the second half. Cal will take an unbeaten mark of 18-0-2 into the NCAA Tournament.

Work was named the MVP after scoring three goals and dishing out two assists for a total of eight points in Cal's three games in the tournament.
