WOMEN'S RECAP

Pueblo, Colo. - The NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Pueblo, Colorado wrapped-up on Saturday with the PSAC earning five additional All-America honors. 

Mansfield's Brenae Edwards earned second in the 5000m run with a time a 17:03.94. Teammate Jessica Scordino crossed the line in 1721.51 for sixth place Victoria Davis of Bloomsburg came in eighth at 17:25,37, and Sarah Krolick of Edinboro place ninth. Katrina Spratford of Shippensburg and Steph Pryor finished in the top 15. 

Slippery Rock's Alexandra Arnold took third in the women's javelin with a toss of 46.68m (153' 2.0"). 

Caitlin Stuetz of Shippensburg placed eighth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.86. 

MEN'S RECAP

Pueblo, Colo. - The NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Pueblo, Colorado wrapped-up on Saturday with the PSAC earning seven addiontal All-America honors. 

East Stroudsburg's Matt Tholis placed second in the men's javelin throw with a mark of 70.72m (232'). Teammate Josh Hontz took fifth at 66.86m (219' 4"), while Derek Nothstein was sixth at 65.78m (215' 10"). 

California's Aaron Dinzeo placed fifth in the men's 5000m run to earn All-America status with a time of 14:41.84. 

Slippery Rock's Cameron Daugherty took bronze in the pole vault with a clearing height of 5.20m (17' .75"). 

Shippensburg's Steve Waithe finished the triple jump in sixth place with a mark of 15.4m (50' 6.25")

The Rock's Kevin Jewel nabbed second in the 800 crossing the line at 1:49.09.

WOMEN'S RECAP


Pueblo, Colo. – Bloomsburg’s Victoria Davis clinched All-America honors at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Friday in Pueblo, Colorado. 
 
With a time of 10:59.05, Davis placed fifth in the 3000m steeplechase finals to be the day’s top PSAC finisher. East Stroudsburg’s Corinne Fitzgerald placed 10th with a time of 11:14.11. Edinboro’s Kasey Jones crossed the line at 11:43.28 to place 12th.
 
In the women’s triple jump, Edinboro’s Tabitha Bemis earned a mark of 11.83m (38’ 9.75”) to place 16th.
 

MEN'S RECAP

Pueblo, Colo. – There was little PSAC men’s action on Friday at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Pueblo, Colo. 
 
East Stroudsburg’s Seth Bailey cleared a 2.05m (6’ 8.75”) height in the high jump to take 11th amongst the field. Jalen Ramsey of Shippensburg also competed in the event but was unable to clear a height.
 
In the men’s decathlon Kyle Maio of Edinboro finished action on Friday in 14th with 6,277 points.


NCAA Outdoor T&F Championship: Mansfield's Brenae Edwards Headlines Day One

WOMEN'S RECAP


Pueblo, Colo. - Mansfield's Brenae Edwards clinched Mansfield's first-ever national championship gold medal with a first place finish in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Chamiponship's 10000m run on Thursday in Pueblo, Colorado. 

Edwards crossed the line with a time of 35:21:25, followed by three other PSAC All-Americans. Katrina Spratford of Shippensburg finished in fifth with a 36:36.84 time. Mountie Jessica Scordino was sixth with a time of 36:37.56, and Edinboro's Sarah Krolick marked the fourth PSAC All-American to cross the line at 36:44.92 for eighth place. 

Slippery Rock's Julia Cain clinched All-America status with a clearing height of 3.9m (12' 9.5") for eighth in the women's pole vault. 

Kutztown's Rosealine Farrell palced 16th in the hammer throw with a toss of 51.81m (169' 11"). Teammate Katie Catania also placed 16th with a 5.64m (18' 6") mark in the long jump, while IUP's Laurie Ajavon earned 15th with a 5.65m (18' 6.5") mark. 

MEN'S RECAP

Pueblo, Colo. - Six PSAC male track and field athletes competed at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Thursday in Pueblo, Colo. 

Lock Haven's Alex Monroe chalked-up a time of 31:41.08 in the men's 10000m run to earn 12th.

East Stroudsburg's Travis Toth threw the hammer 56.02m (183' 9") to earn 13th. While Lock Haven's Mark Manno didn't place, teammate Tyler Thomas earned 19th with a mark of 53.20m (174' 6"). 

In the long jump, Shippensburg's Herman Kirkland leapt 7.11m (23' 4") to earn 16th in the event. 

With the completion of the 100m, long jump, shot put, high jump and 400m, East Stroudsburg's Kyle Maio is currently in 14th in the men's decathlon with 3,380 points.
