PSAC Volleyball Athletes of the Week - 4 Tuesday, September 29, 2015 2:30 PM Volleyball: East Athlete of the Week Kendall Mahony Pitt-Johnstown (So. / MH) Yorktown, Va. / Grafton Mahony led Pitt-Johnstown to 4-0 weekend in PSAC crossover matchups. She recorded 15 kills and nine blocks against Mercyhurst. She had double digit kills in all four matches, finishing with 53 total kills and a .386 hitting percentage. In addition to the kills, Mahony had 22 blocks over the four matches and six aces. It is the second time this season that Mahony has been named the PSAC East Volleyball Athlete of the Week. Volleyball: West Athlete of the Week Gabrielle Olson Clarion (So. / MH) Gibsonia, Pa. / Pine-Richland Olson had a very strong weekend for the Golden Eagles, leading Clarion to a 4-0 record - which now includes a 7 match win streak. Olson had 47 kills in the 4 matches (all 3-0 sweeps) and had 16 blocks (including solos and assists). Her hitting percentage was a remarkable .770. She 47 kills in 61 total attempts with no errors. Clarion defeated Cheyney, West chester, Kutztown and East Stroudsburg.
