PSAC Volleyball Athletes of the Week - 9 Tuesday, October 31, 2017 2:30 PM Volleyball: Central Division Athlete of the Week: Devan Orr Pitt-Johnstown (Sr. / DS) Carol Stream, IL / West Chicago Orr broke PSAC Career Digs record with 31 digs in Pitt-Johnstown's four-set win over California on Friday. The senior followed suit with another 31-dig effort in UPJ's win against Seton Hill. Orr chipped in with 15 assists in two matches. Volleyball: Northwest Division Athlete of the Week: Shelby Chesko Mercyhurst (Jr. / OPP) Blacklick, Ohio / Bishop Hartley Chesko led kills for the Lakers in a 3-2 victory over East Stroudsburg, and a 3-1 victory over Kutztown. Chesko posted 23 kills in the East Stroudsburg match and 14 over Kutztown. Chesko also recorded a block assists against Kutztown, and a total of 11 digs through both games. Volleyball: Southeast Division Athlete of the Week: Jillian Grammer West Chester (Jr. / S) Center Valley, Pa. / Southern Lehigh Grammer propelled the Golden Rams to a trio of wins this week, providing 126 assists, 32 digs, and five service aces. West Chester claimed three road victories over Georgian Court, Edinboro, and Slippery Rock. Grammer contributed 48 assists and 15 digs against Georgian Court. The junior had another great performance in a 3-1 victory over Edinboro. She posted 41 assists as well as 11 digs for the Golden Rams. Volleyball: Southwest Division Athlete of the Week: Katie Miller IUP (Sr. / S) Fort Wayne, Ind. / Homestead Miller was the offensive catalyst for the Crimson Hawks during 2-0 weekend that included a three-set sweep of PSAC-leading Shippensburg on the road. Miller finished the weekend with 79 assists, averaging 11.2 assists per set, helping IUP tally a .224 hitting percentage. She also had six service aces, the most in back-to-back matches in her career.
