PSAC Football Notes: Week 1

The 2017 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference football season will be underway this week with all 16 teams in action. Five league schools open their respective season on Thursday while the remaining 11 play Saturday.

No. 9 IUP will face a stiff test while opening at home against Ashland Thursday. Ohio Dominican will battle California in a Thursday evening affair. Overall, 10 PSAC teams will be at home during week one. 

In all, 58 players tabbed as All-PSAC selections from a year ago are set to return, including 22 first-team representatives.
