West Chester's Kyle Hoops Earns Men's Soccer Champion Scholar Award

WEST CHESTER, Pa. --- West Chester senior Kyle Hoops was tabbed the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Champion Scholar, the league office announced Friday afternoon prior to WCU’s semifinal match.
 
Hoops is the third Golden Ram to earn the award in the sport.

The PSAC Champion Scholar Awards are modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 award and honor the student-athlete with the top grade point average who is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's 23 team championship finals. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 90 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 90 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II, and III.

The Phoenixville, Pa., native and Great Valley graduate has amassed 105 credits towards his accounting and finance degree while sporting a 3.857 grade point average.
