MEN'S BASKETBALL EASTERN DIVISION ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Ky Mauras

Mauras scored a career-high 28 points while posting seven rebounds and five assists in the Huskies' 80-79 overtime victory over Georgian Court in the season opener on Saturday. Mauras scored 21 of his 28 points in the second half and finished 11-of-20 from the field. Bloomsburg trailed by two, 67-65, with 34 seconds left in regulation before Mauras drove to the basket and completed an old-fashioned three-point play to give the Huskies a 68-67 advantage. Then, in overtime, Mauras hit his only three-pointer of the game to give Bloomsburg a 74-71 lead - a lead that it would not relinquish. He hit two foul shots with 18 seconds left in overtime to put the Huskies back up by three. His seven first-half points came during a 15-2 run that helped erase an early 10-point deficit. |

Nwosu helped Millersville to a 2-0 week and its first 3-1 start since 2009-10 by averaging 9.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game. Against Georgian Court, Nwosu scored 11 points on 4 of 7 shooting, making 3 of 4 free throws and adding three blocked shots and three steals. He then scored eight points on 4 of 8 shooting with two steals and three boards against Lincoln. |

MEN'S BASKETBALL WESTERN DIVISION ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Till continued to be one of the most consistent forces in the PSAC last week as he led Slippery Rock to a 1-1 record. In two games, Till averaged 22.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the field overall and 11-for-14 at the foul line. |

Kromka scored 17 points (7-9 FGs), eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and a steal in the Mountain Cats' 115-83 win in over Penn State-Fayette in Saturday's home opener. |
Game Notes
Millersville: Millersville has won three in a row for the first time since 2016-17 and is off to its first 3-1 start since 2009-10. In wins over Georgian Court and Lock Haven, Marcus Adkison averaged 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.0 assists per game. Against Georgian Court, he recorded his first career double-double with a career-high 13 rebounds to go with 14 points, five steals and four assists. Five Marauder scored in double figures against Georgian Court and four hit double figures against Lincoln. Caden Najdawi has scored in double figures in all four games this season, and Jamal Washington has scored at least 11 in each of the last three. It is the longest career double-figure scoring streaks for both players. Millersville totaled double-digit steals in both games last week and blocked nine shots in the win over Georgian Court. It was the most blocks by Millersville since Jan. 4, 2015.
