11116 VOLLEYBALL CENTRAL DIVISION ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Smith tallied 33 kills on the week for the Warriors, who went 3-0 in PSAC contests. The Warriors recorded historic victories against Cal U and Seton Hill, beating the Vulcans for the first time since 1983 and the Griffins since 1997. Smith averaged 3.97 kills per set and 4.22 points per set. She tallied 11 kills in each match and hit .333. Smith leads all outside hitters in the conference in hitting percentage, digs per set, and blocks per set.

Hill led the Rams to a 3-1 week including a five-set win over Gannon. She had 63 kills on the week and recorded three double-doubles on the week. She turned in 18 kills and 15 digs in a tightly-contested battle against Shippensburg. The senior was instrumental in Shepherd's five-set win against Gannon. She had 13 kills, 14 digs and a pair of block assists. It was Gannon's first conference loss. Hill combined for 32 kills, 17 digs and five aces in wins against Mercyhurst and Edinboro. 
 
11250 VOLLEYBALL NORTHWEST DIVISION ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Beyers handed out a team-best 78 assists (9.75/s) and added 28 digs (3.50/s) last week. Her week was highlighted by a match-high 46 assists to go along with 12 digs on the road against Shepherd. Beyers also tallied a match-high 32 assists with 16 digs to close the week in the win over Shippensburg. She has produced three straight double-doubles and six this season. Beyers is distributing a team-best 10.47 assists per set this season, which ranks third in the PSAC.
 
11310 VOLLEYBALL SOUTHWEST DIVISION ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Carota led Pitt-Johnstown to three PSAC road wins last week. The senior had 11 kills, 15 digs and a block assist in 4-set win at IUP on Tuesday. Carota turned in a match-high 17 kills, 11 digs and a block assist in 5-set win at Bloomsburg on Friday. She had a match-high 14 kills, 11 digs, four aces and a block assist in 4-set win at Lock Haven on Saturday.
 
11069 VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Major had 101 digs in a 3-1 week for the Rams. She had 28 digs against Shippensburg and Gannon. The senior had 25 digs against Mercyhurst while accumulating 20 against Edinboro.
