KUTZTOWN, Pa. --- IUP senior Ana Hollen was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Champion Scholar, the league announced Saturday afternoon prior to IUP’s semifinal contest in Kutztown, Pa.

Hollen is a repeat winner and is the second women’s basketball athlete to accomplish the feat (Nicole Southcott, Bloomsburg, 2014 & 15).

The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 90 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship finals sites of the 90 NCAA championships across all three divisions – I, II, and III.

The Bellwood, Pa., native and Bellwood graduate has accumulated 134 credits in physical education and sport while boasting a flawless 4.0 grade point average.
