Shepherd to Add Women’s Golf for 2020-21

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. --- Shepherd University Vice President for Athletics Chauncey Winbush announced today that Shepherd will be adding women's golf for the 2020-21 year.
Shepherd men's golf coach Chuck Ingram will also take on the head coaching duties of the women's golf program.
"The addition of women's golf at Shepherd University allows us to continue with our goal to enhance our sport sponsorship," said Winbush. "Coach Ingram has done an outstanding job with our men's program and I believe he will quickly elevate our women's team to be one of the top programs in the PSAC."
The addition of women's golf increases the total number of varsity sports at Shepherd to 15.
