PSAC Women’s Soccer Athletes of the Week — 8
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office announced this week’s women’s soccer athletes of the week. In the PSAC East, Maggie Lena of West Chester University was the top offensive performer and Haley McGee of West Chester University earned Defensive Athlete of the Week. On the PSAC West side, Emily Mijares of Mercyhurst University was the Offensive Athlete of the Week and Gretchen Oslick of Gannon University earned defensive honors.

Maggie Lena scored twice to help West Chester to a 2-0 week. Against Lock Haven, she scored the game-tying goal in the 20
th minute as the Golden Rams went on to win 4-1. Lena scored the game-winning goal just 93 seconds into the game against Millersville.

Hayley McGee made 14 saves in two games this week. She faced eight shots and made seven saves against Lock Haven. McGee made another seven saves on 12 shots to blank Millersville for her fifth shutout of the season.

Emily Mijares scored two game-winning goals in a 2-0 week for Mercyhurst. She scored the lone goal of the game in the 32
nd minute against Slippery Rock to secure the 1-0 win. Mijares then scored the game-winning goal in the 53
rd minute against Pitt-Johnstown to give the Lakers a 2-1 victory.

Gretchen Oslick helped the Gannon defense keep their opponents off the board this week. In two games, Gannon did not allow a goal, blanking IUP and Cal U.
