QUICK HITS

ROCK – Henry Litwin became the second player in Rock history to record more than 3,000 career receiving yards when he caught a 42-yard pass for a touchdown in the third quarter against Mercyhurst.

GANN – Melvin Blanks set career highs in carries with 29 and rushing yards with 329 against Edinboro while scoring two touchdowns.

HURST – Mercyhurst scored on their first drive of the game against Slippery Rock but 20-17. Joe Carter threw one touchdown and three interceptions.

CLAR – Clarion was shut out for the second time this season. The Golden Eagles averaged 3.7 yards per play in the 49-0 loss to Seton Hill.

VILLE – Hakim Melvin scored with nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to give Millersville its only points of the game as the Marauders fell to Shippensburg 38-7.

KUTZ – Darryl Davis-McNeil set a career high with 148 rushing yards as part of  Kutztown’s season-high 241 rush yards  in the Golden Bears’  32-15 win over Lock Haven.

WCU – Shane Dooley threw five touchdowns and was sacked five times as West Chester lost to Shepherd 42-38.   

LHU – Lock Haven lost to Kutztown 32-15 on Homecoming.  The Bald Eagles were successful on a two-point conversion after a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

SHIP – The Raiders set a single-game record in rushing defense, holding Millersville to minus-61 yards as Shippensburg defeated the Marauders 38-7 on Homecoming.

ESU –  Elie Lavarin scored two touchdowns as the Warriors defeated Bloomsburg for the first time since 2015, and the second time since 2005.

SHEP – Tyson Bagent threw his third touchdown of the game with 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter to retake the lead as the Rams went on to defeat West Chester 42-38.

BLOOM – The Huskies scored on the first drive of the game to take an early lead but gave up 402 yards of total offense to East Stroudsburg in a 35-14 loss.

BORO – Three players each scored a touchdown for the Fighting Scots but Edinboro ultimately fell 21-18 to Gannon.

IUP – The Crimson Hawks led for the majority of the game, but allowed Cal U to score 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Vulcans took the Coal Bowl victory 38-34.

SHU – Seton Hill recorded its first shutout since 2008 as the Griffins blanked Clarion 49-0. Jake McCormick threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

CAL U – Tyson Hill scored a touchdown with 11 seconds remaining to give Cal U a 38-42 win over IUP in the Coal Bowl. Cal U remains undefeated this season.
