QUICK HITS FROM LAST WEEK
ROCK –
Slippery Rock defeated Cal U 38-26 to claim the PSAC West title. Noah Grover threw for 466 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions. 

KUTZ – Kutztown scored with eight seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to take the lead and secure a 21-14 win over West Chester. 

CLAR – Khalil Owens set a season high with 32 carries for 179 yards, but Clarion fell to Edinboro 17-10. 

SHEP – Tyson Bagent threw for 437 yards and six touchdown passes against East Stroudsburg. Bagent now holds Shepherd’s single-season touchdown record, breaking the previous high of 40. 

IUP – Harry Woodberry threw for 220 yards, including an 85 yard and a 70 yard pass, and three touchdowns as IUP defeated Seton Hill 38-3.   

WCU – Zach Liggitt led the West Chester defense with two sacks and a recovered fumble as the Golden Rams recorded seven sacks against Kutztown. The Golden Rams lost 21-14. 

BORO – Saige Ley set a season high with 13 tackles as the Fighting Scots won 17-10 against Clarion.  

VILLE – Millersville’s defense did not allow any points in the second half but the Marauders lost to Bloomsburg 38-35. 

CAL U – Derek Lockhart recorded more than 100 yards of offense for the third consecutive game. He totaled 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Vulcans lost 38-26 against Slippery Rock. 

BLOOM – The Huskies scored 31 points in the second quarter en route to a 38-35 win over Millersville. 

SHU – Seton Hill lost to IUP 38-3 on Senior Day. 

LHU – Ethan Persa threw a season high 297 yards but Lock Haven fell 52-14 to Shippensburg. 

HURST – The Lakers defeated Gannon 24-13 in head coach Marty Schaetzle’s final home game. 

SHIP – Nasai Moon carried the ball 17 times and rushed for a career high 123 yards as Shippensburg won 52-14 against Lock Haven. 

GANN – Melvin Blanks has 1,015 rushing yards this season which makes him Gannon’s first running back to record more than 1,000 yards since 2018. He added 50 yards in the 24-13 loss at Mercyhurst. 

ESU – East Stroudsburg scored its only points of the game when David Akinwande caught a four-yard touchdown pass from Jake Cirillo in the third quarter. The Warriors fell 55-7 against Shepherd.
