PSAC Men’s Basketball Athletes of the Week – 1
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office announced this week’s men’s basketball athletes of the week. In the PSAC East, Jaden Faulkner of Millersville University was the Offensive Athlete of the Week and Caden Najdawi of Millersville University earned defensive honors. On the PSAC West side, Jerald Garmon of Clarion University claimed offensive honors and John Paul Kromka of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown was the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Jaden Faulkner helped Millersville to a 2-0 start to the season. Against Frostburg State, he put up 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and grabbed two steals. In the game with Claflin, Faulkner recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, and dished out five assists.

Caden Najdawi’s defense helped Millersville limit its opponents and record a 2-0 week. He blocked two shots, made three steals, and pulled in eight rebounds in the win over Frostburg State. Najdawi added nine rebounds, a block, and a steal against Claflin.

Gerald Jarmon led Clarion to its first 2-0 start since the 2010-2011 season. He opened the season with 14 points, five defensive rebounds, and two assists against Claflin. In the win over Frostburg State, Jarmon put up 26 points, added two assists, and grabbed two defensive rebounds.

John Paul Kromka helped Pitt-Johnstown to a 2-0 week. He recorded 26 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and blocked five shots as the Mountain Cats defeated Concord. Against West Virginia Wesleyan, Kromka tallied 15 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks.
