QUICK HITS
KUTZ – Kutztown defeated Millersville 30-7 on Homecoming. With the win, the Golden Bears secured a spot in the PSAC Championship game and will host the PSAC West champion on Nov. 13.
WCU – The Golden Rams fumbled the ball three times and threw two interceptions but won 35-13 over Lock Haven. The offense registered 333 rushing yards and 522 total yards of offense.
ESU – East Stroudsburg scored 23 points in the first half, but didn’t score in the second half as they lost to Shippensburg 24-23.
SHEP – Tyson Bagent set the Shepherd career pass attempts record (1,206) and the career passing yards (10,484) record in the 62-18 win over Bloomsburg. He also completed his 101st career touchdown pass.
GANN – Gannon recorded a season-low 244 total yards of offense, only 36 of which came on the ground. Kory Curtis threw two touchdowns as the Golden Knights lost to Slippery Rock 63-21.
HURST – Joe Carter threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns to three different receivers in the Lakers’ 38-20 win against Clarion.
BLOOM – The Huskies scored just two points (a third quarter safety) in the second half against Shepherd. Bloomsburg lost 62-18.
VILLE – Timmy Smith scored a touchdown with 2:21 remaining in the fourth quarter to give Millersville its only points of the game as the Marauders lost 30-7 to Kutztown.
IUP – IUP recorded a season-high 232 rushing yards but fell to Edinboro 21-17 on Senior Day.
SHU – The Griffins allowed 28 first quarter points in the 42-12 loss to Cal U.
CLAR – Zechariah Sanderson and Taylor Eggers each threw a touchdown but Clarion lost to Mercyhurst 38-20 on Senior Day.
BORO – Edinboro scored a touchdown with 3:33 remaining in the fourth quarter to take and hold a 21-17 lead and defeat IUP.
CAL U – Noah Mitchell set a career-high with five touchdown passes as Cal U defeated Seton Hill 42-14.
ROCK – Noah Grover broke Slippery Rock’s single-game touchdown pass record with eight touchdowns. The previous record, 7, was set in 2016.
LHU – The Bald Eagles scored three touchdowns in the first half, but lost to West Chester 35-13.
SHIP – Jaxon Montross made a 31-yard field goal with 1:27 remaining in the fourth quarter to give Shippensburg a 24-23 win over East Stroudsburg.
